That Untitled Ghanith One Shot I Did That One Time...

I don't know who I am anymore. I'm new, totally unique to the world, and yet I am so very old. I can remember very little personal past, maybe only a year or two. But before that, I was split in to two, somehow still managing to remain a whole.
I loved once, oh yes I remember that clearly. Well, half of me loved, and it was more than once I suppose. But the last time I (or was it she?) loved, that was the stuff of fairy tales. Years of secretive glances and yearning looks across a coffee table in the shop's work room. Taking it slow, becoming the best of friends first, never daring to mention the word 'date' when they met up for a drink or hung out watching movies. And when they did come close, as they had so many times, there was always something in the way; Another friend in trouble or another impending apocalypse to run and stop. There had been one memorable occasion on Christmas day, when she, depressed at being unable to see her family, had been treated to a three course Christmas roast by him. Afterwards, curled up on the sofa and thanking him profusely, their mouths had been mere millimetres away from a sweet kiss when the doorbell had been rung by a sulking skeleton detective.
Now since she had been reborn into the world, she had been alone, incapable of love. Well... not entirely alone. The Texan had proved himself useful and worthy of staying alive on several occasions. But how he irritated her! Deluding himself with notions of love and sex. She hated sex. Valuable time wasted lay on a bed waiting for him to finish. She was sure that the next time he made a slip up she would execute him instantly and earn herself some precious sleep.
The human part of her yearned for freedom, to be united with the man it once loved. Still loved, perhaps in the whiter planes of her murky grey soul. She know where her soul hid, the only person (if you could call her that) to know throughout all history. She knew because she could feel her soul burning inside of her. It hurt. But if her soul were separated, she would die. The two halves may live on to see another day, but she as she was now would be gone from this Earth. The desperate struggle for survival was what kept her from him. He would not love her like this. How could anyone truly love such a flawless abomination?
She stood abruptly up from the motel's creaky bed and stared at herself in the greasy mirror. A perfect, if slightly round face stared back, with black lips and veins criss-crossing underneath her skin. She could hide those if she wanted, but they always came back eventually. Sighing, the Remnith stalked out of the room and went to find Billy-Ray.

Memories

Ahhhh Im old. But there are certain advantages to being one of the oldest SP fans going.

I remember that, when I first looked, there was only 1 fan fiction for SP on fanfiction.net. I remember there being only 3 pieces of fan art on DeviantArt... and now look around...

Nearly 700 fan fictions... thousands of fan art pieces...

Dude. Im getting old.

How Tanith Can Return In 6 Easy(ish) Steps!

So we all know that right now Tanith has the small problem of having a Remnant fused to her soul right now. Multiple times in the book it has been said there is no hope, but is that necessarily true? Actually, it would be quite easy to bring her back!

So here it is! How To Bring Tanith Back In Easy Steps!

1) Capture the Remnith and contain her.

Admittedly this will be quite difficult, but if Skul cant do it, nobody can!

2) Drag the Remnith out to meet our good old friend, the Banshee!

Do you know what it is yet?

3) Force the Remnith into the headless horseman's carriage once it has been summoned by the Banshee.

Problem One: SOLVED! The Remnant cant survive in a living body, so would be forced to leave!

4) Capture the escaping Remnant in a Soul Catcher.

Easy enough if you are fully prepared.

5) Put Skulduggery in the carriage to make sure Nye (the carriage's destination) releases the now sort-of dead Tanith back into the world.

We know that Nye is scared of Skulduggery, so sending him along is always a bonus. Plus, Skulduggery is already dead so the horseman's carriage wont affect him!

6) Go to Nye, threaten it with impending doom, and release Tanith! She will regain her life the moment she leaves the lab, thoroughly Remnant free!

See? And you thought it would be impossible :p

An alternate theory would be to use Nye to split the soul of the Remnith back into two separate entities, of course.

EDIT: It was recently pointed out to me that the Remnant just dies and disappears when the host body dies, so ignore Step 4 (I would change it but....... dont wanna :p)

Hello and Welcome!

Hey guys :)

So I guess I should introduce myself, huh? Well my name is GenesisAggelos, and I am a Skulhead (and proud). Im 17, verging on 18, which as you can work out means Ive quite LITERALLY grown up Valkyrie. So I think, after attending 5 book signings, reading the books again and again, one cosplay event and being mistaken for Tanith Low in a bookstore (yes it was by a five year old but I was flattered regardless), its fair to say I know a thing or two about Skulduggery Pleasant :)
I dont write fanfiction. Thats the most important thing you should know before any of you ask. I may do in the future but for now I just plain old cba. Instead, I fill my SP quota for the day by writing articles. Lots and lots of articles. I write about anything and everything SP related, from how Tanith Low could POSSIBLY return to us to the complete history of the man himself: Skulduggery.
So yeah, this blog should hopefully be a place to dump all of my articles, answer questions, answer article requests and just jabber constantly about my favourite author in the whole wide world, my Golden God... Derek Landy.

First article up in five!
